La vie de chateau

This volume gathers ten beautiful lithographies, all hand colorized, about the typical life spent in a castle. There are scenes such as the arrival of journals and letters, but also representations of the inhabitants routine life: for instance, the daily visit to the local village. Other leisure activities are painting, boar hunting, visiting the neighbors, as well as writing, reading and playing the piano.
